I started my career in the Veterinary industry working at Animal Care Control in San Francisco and wanted to know more about our furry friends. I then became a Veterinary Assistant at Marina Pet Hospital. I spent 5 years learning the basics and developing my skill and knowledge. Still, I wanted to learn more, so I joined Norcal Veterinary and Surgical in Daly City. I worked as a Veterinary Assistant, Supervisor of the Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Emergency Departments.
Unfortunately, the hospital was sold so I continued my learning with Sage Veterinary and Specialty Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant. It was with Sage that I learned the true value of high-volume medicine. I wanted to get back to leading teams so I began working part-time at Medvet as a Clinical Supervisor and managing a new and growing hospital named Lenity. There I truly honed my management skills by leading a brand new hospital. My goal was always to become a Hospital Manager so I moved to VCA to take on this dream role.
I was still seeking more support and structure and have found a home with VetnCare. I look forward to developing and growing with the Irvington Pet Hospital family.
