I first learned that an 'animal doctor' existed when I was 9 years old. Toby, my first dog, was sick and my father drove us over 100 miles to the closest veterinarian. That experience inspired me to become a veterinarian.
I received my DVM degree from UC Davis. I had two children, and managed a small animal practice, with my husband, Ray, for 35 years.
Now I work part-time to make more time for California native plant gardening, TaiChi, hiking, and my 'therapy cats', Otis and Fiona. Our family is eagerly awaiting a new puppy!
