Having taken ownership of Romie Lane Pet Hospital in 1987, Dr. James Ponder made the decision to pass the ownership of his beloved hospital to local veterinarian Dr. Heart Dominguez in June 2020. The professional and courteous staff at Romie Lane Pet Hospital seeks to build on the legacy created by Dr. Ponder and provide the best possible medical, surgical, and dental care for our highly-valued patients.
Emergencies don't always happen during regular business hours! That is why we are open 7 days a week - all day on Sundays - when most other veterinary hospitals are closed. Our urgent care service on Sundays provides extended hours to our patients and may save you a trip to the emergency vet! If your pet is in need of urgent veterinary care please call us immediately. You may still be referred to an emergency facility if we feel that your pet would be better treated by a specialist.
