Napa: A Pet-Friendly Community

There are lots of things to do, places to go, and accommodations in Napa which are pet-friendly. Check out our list of pet-friendly attractions!

Parks

Alston Park- at 2099 Dry Creek Road. This is a large nature preserve with an enclosed area for dogs to run free. The enclosed area has some agility equipment, lots of balls to throw, a large water pan with running water, and a double entry system to ensure the safety of all dogs going in or out. A large portion of the park is off-leash for dogs under good voice control. Dog waste bags are freely provided, as are numerous cans to put the waste into. There also is another large portion of the park that is restricted to dogs on leash only, This is an awesome park to walk with your dogs!

Shurtleff Park- 2089 Shurtleff Avenue. A beautiful area with a large expanse of grass. Your dog will love this!

John F. Kennedy Park- 2318 Streblow Drive. This park has an area for dogs that is not fenced in. Dogs love the open air feeling of this park.

Wineries

Regusci Winery- 5584 Silverado Trail. Many come to historic Regusci Winery for its fabulous, dog-friendly atmosphere, beautifully crafted stone building, and its lovely estate wines.

Baldacci Family Vineyards- 6236 Silverado Trail. Share an experience of fine wine and family at Baldacci Family Vineyards, where the tasting room is dog-friendly!

Robert Sinskey Vineyards- 6320 Silverado Trail. Dogs are welcome to sit outside while visitors enjoy tastings of great wines with good people. Named Sunset Magazine's "Tasting Room of the Year"!

Monticello Vineyards- 4242 Big Ranch Road. Very beautiful, off the beaten path winery with personable, pet-friendly staff and world class wines from its five small vineyards.

Accommodations

Westin Verasa Napa- 1314 Mckinstry Street. Westin Verasa Napa is pet-friendly! Pets up to 50 lbs are welcome for no additional fee.

The Meritage Resort & Spa- 875 Bordeaux Lane. The Meritage Resort and Spa welcomes two pets of any size are welcome for an additional fee of $50 per pet, per stay.

Embassy Suites Napa Valley- 1075 California Blvd. Embassy Suites Napa Valley welcomes two pets up to 50 lbs for an additional fee of $75 per stay.

Beazley House Bed & Breakfast Inn- 1910 1st Street. Beazley House welcomes two dogs for an additional fee of $40 per night. All rooms are dog-friendly.

Other Attractions

Napa Valley Welcome Center- 600 Main Street. Located at 600 Main Street, along the Riverfront in Downtown Napa, the 2,400-square-foot Welcome Center provides the perfect starting point for new and returning guests of the Napa Valley. The official source for destination information, the new Welcome Center uses a mix of high-tech and traditional resources to provide guests with an introduction to the Napa Valley touring experience by artfully combining the gracious hospitality for which the area is known along with easy access to fun and interactive digital information tools.

Napa Good Dog Wine Tour- 210 S Jefferson Street. A professional dog trainer will pick you and your dog up and take you on a tour of Napa or Sonoma Valley. You can design the tour or the staff will be happy to do it for you. While you are sipping, Fido is exercising. Water, bowl and tennis ball included.

Dog-Friendly Wine Tours- 608 Kilpatrick Street. Take a tour of Napa Wineries with your dog! Our animal and wine experience allows us to accommodate the perfect day up-valley with your 4 legged friends!
