Hello! My name is McKenzie, and I am the Hospital Manager at Disney Pet Hospital. Born and raised in the Bay Area! After graduating high school, I transformed from a volleyball player to a coach. I spent 8 years helping young athletes develop into amazing young adults, both on and off the court. After that, I dove into the medical field where I spent a couple of years managing a busy Plastic Surgery Practice. However, I knew my heart was meant to be with animals. So, when the opportunity presented itself to work at Disney Pet Hospital, I had to take it.
I have two children, an 10-year-old daughter, a 5-year-old son, and one fur baby. A very large couch potato of a German Shepherd Sarge. When I am not at the hospital, you will find me at the softball field cheering on my daughter and chasing around my son to stay off the field.
Here at Disney Pet Hospital, your pet is our priority. Your pets are our passion! We strive to make every visit as stress-free, gentle, and pain-free as possible. I am proud to be Fear free certified! To become certified, I completed an 8-part educational course and exam.
