Our hospital acquisition team is experienced with selecting, valuing, and closing hospital sales. Once we match a Clinical Director with one of our for-sale hospitals, we work through all steps of the purchase, right up to the first-day takeover.
Our HR professionals provide our partners with all aspects of HR, including support to make sure you recruit, train, and retain the best possible team for your practice. The HR team also supports you with employment packages, employee relations, company policies, and employment guidelines and provides HR-related support whenever it is needed. All of our policies and protocols meet or exceed the high standards required in the State of California, one of the toughest HR environments in the world.
Financial Analysis and Accountancy
Financial Analysis is critically important to a new business, carrying substantial loans. Our Financial Team will help you with all of your finance and accounting needs; including monthly financial statements, monthly debt analysis, inventory counts, monthly and yearly benchmarks, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
We have a dedicated marketing team to help develop high-profile, brand-building campaigns. We create promotional initiatives and advertising campaigns to help exploit your local marketing opportunities. We look after your reminders, promotions, website, and social media sites to ensure your presence is exactly as it should be – giving you fewer things to think about.
We have partnered with the best California-based veterinary legal counsel available. Our legal team specializes in the veterinary industry allowing them to advise us confidently and accurately on veterinary matters. All our purchasing agreements and non-compete clauses protect the new Clinical Directors to the greatest extent of the law.
We have partnered with one of the newest and most advanced veterinary practice management systems available, ezyVet. This system allows effortless communication between sites, an automated inventory management system, and advanced statistical reporting. Our strong relationship with ezyVet allows us to customize our system to meet our needs on every level.
Managing a clinical team is not a one-person job. Despite being responsible for the clinical team you will still need support and mentorship in this area until you learn the skills needed to manage successfully. Our Operations team is comprised of a Hospital Lead, who oversees, supports, and mentors all the Clinical team. A Hospital Manager, who oversees all day-to-day operations. The third member of this team is the Area Clinical Director who supports you personally (with the help of your mentor - an established Clinical Director), and the two other operational experts in their challenging roles.
VetnCare provides general administrative support to help with the smooth running of your hospital and legal compliance of your business so that you can rest assured you are doing everything correctly. Administration can take a huge amount of your time - filing receipts, paying bills, legal reporting, provision of month-end accounting reports, HR documentation- PTO requests, HAS deductions, healthcare/dental insurance enrollment are just some of the items that our administrative team handle on your behalf.
Procurement and Group Purchasing
We have negotiated terms with many drug companies, equipment suppliers, stationery, and utility providers; which are designed to provide our hospitals with the best rates and supplier standards possible. However, patient welfare and wellbeing are a priority for us, and if you feel the recommended product or service is not appropriate for a particular case or your hospital, you have the freedom to choose an alternative!
We currently have excellent relationships with MWI, Hill's, Antech Laboratories, Ceva, Merck, and Golden State Pet Crematorium, amongst others. As we grow, our ability to negotiate better terms with other vendors and suppliers will grow too.
