People Operations Coordinator
Hi! My name is Lisa Marie Keenan and I was born and raised in beautiful San Francisco. During my childhood, my fondest memories were helping my mom trap, neuter, and release cats all over the city while working with various non-profit animal shelters. These thrilling experiences set the foundation for my lifetime love for animals. Growing up I always had pet cats, hamsters, goldfish, and a wiener dog named Sunny who loved to howl and play.
After graduating High School as a Theatre Major, I went on to be a competitive gymnast for many years while coaching on the side. I have over 15 years of management experience including retail and banking. But I finally found my way back to animals working at a shelter where I managed the Pet Store, Dog Park, and Intake Department.
When I’m not helping out a furry friend, you can find me hanging out with my husband, Cory, and our 13-year old son, Devon. We have three cats who were all our bottle-baby foster failures: Totoro, Yuki, and Jojo. And our kitten, Lil Wolfie, is our most recent addition.
My son has developed a love for gymnastics just like me and he’s currently on a competitive team. In my spare time, I love taking adult gymnastics, ballet classes, yoga, and exploring the beautiful Bay Area.
I’ve been so fortunate to be a member of the VetnCare family. My time as Hospital Manager gave me the tools and growth to move into my new role as People Operations Coordinator. I have a natural passion for helping people, and my goal is to provide outstanding support to the team.
