Hello! My name is Guillermo Camacho, and I am the hospital manager at Montclair Veterinary Hospital in Oakland, CA. I was born in Modesto and raised in the Bay Area. At a young age, my parents moved my siblings and I to San Jose and we have been here ever since. As a kid, I loved having animals and was fortunate enough to have parents who taught me the importance of caring for pets. Throughout my childhood, I had many different pets such as Lizards, Rats, Hamsters, Fish, Cats, and Dogs. I have two dogs Frankie and Maddie who are cared for by my grandparents and enjoy a lavish life on their farm.
The majority of my career has been in retail with 9+ years of experience in management. I have worked for places such as Target leading their teams through remodels and owning the Food department and their Planogram team while supporting other areas of the business including their truck process. At GAP I was the acting GM for one of the biggest volume stores and provided support for other locations as a stretch assignment. I got a chance to work alongside our west coast visual merchandiser and assisted in the opening and rebranding of stores leading me to receive their Rivet of Excellence Award. Throughout my career, I have built many teams, implemented new processes, and helped struggling departments and businesses emerge and stand out.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling to new places, volunteering at food banks, and going camping with my friends and two dogs. I love nature and visiting different state parks and hope to one day visit all 50 states!
