hello world!

Hello! I am a Bay Area native, born and raised in San Jose. Both sides of my family have lived in California for several generations after immigrating from Mexico.

Having been a lifelong lover of animals, I began my career volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation facility, caring for orphaned and injured wild animals from around the South Bay. That sole experience had me hooked, and I knew I wanted to commit myself to helping animals to the best of my ability!

I attended UC Santa Cruz for my undergraduate studies in neuroscience and music, and later ventured to Colorado State University for my DVM degree (2019). After returning to California, I was very lucky to join VetnCare’s New Graduate Veterinarian program! This means I’m receiving top-quality training from the amazing team of veterinarians here and providing patient care with their guidance.

I love working with every species, from dogs and cats to birds and reptiles, ferrets and rabbits to goats and alpaca--I’ve even worked with bison! I still have a deep passion for wildlife and the environment, and I hope to contribute to conservation as I further my veterinary career.

In my free time, I enjoy music shows and festivals, birdwatching, and hiking with my rescue pup, Joey.

I’m so happy to rejoin the diverse SF Bay community, and I look forward to meeting you and your family soon!
