hello world!

Dr. Max Salinas - Clinical DirectorI started my college career at the Napa Valley College, and switched majors many times, from Philosophy, to English Literature, then to General Biology, earning an Associate of Science degree in 1991. After transferring to UC Davis for my undergraduate studies, where my major was Biology with an emphasis on Evolution and Ecology, I entered the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. I obtained my Bachelors of Veterinary Science in 1996, and my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1998, all from UC Davis.

During veterinary school, I worked as a veterinary technician, and after graduating, went straight into private practice as a veterinarian. I have been a general practice veterinarian since 1998. I have lived in the Napa Valley almost my entire life. I grew up on Lincoln Street, went to McPherson, Ridgeview, and finally graduated from Napa High school, class of 1986. I met my wife Amy in High School. Our two children, Tyler and Cassidy, and all of our dogs and cats, live happily here in Napa. I love Napa and will always live here.

I am a musician, playing guitar and bass for over 30 years. My tastes include Blues, Rock, Metal, Bluegrass, and Country. I also enjoy online gaming and hanging out with the family.
