I spent my childhood and teenage years growing up in the Bay Area. My undergraduate years were spent in Santa Cruz and Davis. After graduating from Western University of Health Sciences, I continued my training by completing a rotating Small Animal Surgery/Medicine/Emergency internship in Irvine, CA. I then moved back to the Bay Area to be closer to my family and re-establish my roots.
My passion for veterinary medicine evolved from caring for a plethora of furry friends growing up. My interests in veterinary medicine include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, chronic pain management, and alternative therapies (rehabilitation and physical therapy, acupuncture).
My goal in my practice is to strive for providing high-quality medicine to my patients. I hold myself to high standards because I know my patients are more than just pets but also an important member of the family.
In addition to spending time with my family, outside of the hospital I like to play tourist in my hometown of San Francisco, trying new restaurants, checking out the local events, and doing a little urban hiking. On less adventurous days, I stay home and experiment with new recipes in the kitchen.
