Originally from Eugene, Oregon, I attended the University of Oregon and then CSU Monterey Bay to earn my BS in Biology. I became the first CSUMB graduate to be accepted to, as well as graduate from, veterinary school and earned my DVM degree at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. I have had the opportunity to practice medicine in high volume, multi-doctor practices as well as in shelter medicine, and I am thrilled to now serve as the Clinical Director at Romie Lane.
We strive to make every visit as gentle, pain-free, and stress-free as possible for your pets. I am proud to be Fear Free certified! Prior to following my heart’s desire (pun intended) to become a vet, I had an extensive career in the hospitality industry and pride myself on my ability to offer exemplary customer service to both my patients and their parents. I have a special interest in brachycephalic dogs and currently have two of my own. I also have two adorable young children of the two-legged variety.
Having married a Carmel Valley native, my wife and I were overjoyed to return to the Monterey Peninsula in 2016. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, fine dining, training for triathlons, solving Rubik’s cubes and making my kids giggle.
