COVID-19 UPDATE

March 17, 2020
hello world!

June 2022

To all our valued clients and friends,

Earlier this year, the CDPH advised that businesses could make the choice to remove masks for team members and clients. We maintained our mask policy to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our communities, while we continued to experience outbreaks in our hospitals.

Effective June 3rd, 2022 Alameda County is now requiring masks to be worn in indoor public settings due to the rising Covid-19 cases and hospitalizations. All pet parents visiting our locations in Alameda County (Groveway Veterinary Hospital and Irvington Pet Hospital) will be required to wear a mask or given the option of curbside service.

Now that we have seen a significant drop in cases for a consistent time period, masks are now optional for team members and our pet parents outside of Alameda County. We encourage anyone who feels more comfortable wearing a mask to continue to do so.

While we no longer require face coverings to enter our hospitals, we ask that you please be kind to those who chose to wear a mask.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to navigate the changes that COVID-19 presents and appreciate the respect for an individual’s choice whether or not to wear a mask. We kindly request that you cancel your appointment should you or a member of your family be feeling unwell or showing signs of COVID-19.

With thanks, from the VetnCare Community.
