COVID-19 UPDATE

March 17, 2020
hello world!

Updated: Friday, March 27, 2020.

To all our valued clients and friends,

We hope you and your family are doing well during this national crisis. Independent and together... has never meant more to us than it does right now.

As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) impact continues to evolve and develop, we remain focused on the health and safety of our staff and our communities, as well as our commitment to you, our clients and patients. This is our top priority.

Veterinarians are included in the essential business category during this time. Therefore, we will remain open, unless we hear otherwise. We will continue to see all necessary appointments, procedures, walk-ins, and emergencies.

Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, we will be consolidating our sister sites:

We will be closing Pinole Pet Hospital and seeing all PPH clients from Hercules Pet Clinic 1511 Sycamore Ave, Suite B Hercules, CA 94547 Phone: (510) 799-3888

We will be closing Hill’s Veterinary Hospital and seeing all HVH clients from Groveway Veterinary Hospital 2423 Grove Way, Castro Valley, CA 94546 Phone: (510) 581-6629

We will be closing California Pet Hospital and seeing all CPH clients from Alley Cat Small Animal Hospital 1041 Wine Country Ave Napa, CA 94558 Phone: (707) 224-2525

We will be closing VetnCare Union City on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On these days, we recommend that you contact our sister location Groveway Veterinary Hospital 2423 Grove Way, Castro Valley, CA 94546 Phone: (510) 400-2695

We are scheduling appointments appropriately to minimize the number of people in our hospital to support social distancing. If you are unsure as to whether you should keep your appointment, please reach out to us by phone or email and we will provide assistance to determine if an in-person meeting with our veterinarians is necessary or required.

If you are visiting one of our locations, we kindly request that this visit be limited to one pet parent and you reference our “Social Distancing Safety Protocols”. Please also plan to pay via credit or debit card and avoid cash transactions.

Because COVID-19 is known to spread by contact (as well as by coughing), we continue to wipe down all commonly touched surfaces such as door handles and countertops in both the client areas and in staff areas after each visit. We are also continuing with our high standards of hospital and professional hygiene to minimize infectious risks.

We kindly request you cancel your appointment should you or a member of your family be feeling unwell or showing signs of COVID-19.

We encourage you to utilize our digital tools and other resources during this time:

We encourage you to check our website vetncare.com and our social channels for the latest updates on our actions in compliance with local authorities. We will keep you updated if we reduce our open hours or close entirely. Please do not hesitate to call us if you have any questions or concerns about the health of your pet and/or your visit to our hospital.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation, stay focused on keeping our teams and communities healthy and provide you with the support you need. Please stay safe and healthy.
